Health Letter

  Dear Parent or Guardian

Your son/daughter will be attending a summer session at Harcum College this year and we would like to familiarize you with our policy regarding housing and medical treatment of minors and non-Harcum enrolled students.
Any student residing in the residence hall during summer sessions must provide proof of updated immunizations. This requirement is MANDATORY for any student staying in the residence halls. A completed physical form listing all allergies and any physical problems or concerns must also be provided.
Students under the age of 16 must provide an emergency contact number to the program director and parents will be notified in the event of illness or injury. They will not receive treatment on campus. In an obvious emergency, 9-1-1 will be called as well as emergency contact notification.
Students on campus age 16 and above may, with written permission from parent or guardian, receive Tylenol or have minor injuries evaluated during normal Health Center summer hours which are Monday-Thursday, 9 am-11:30 am. Any injury or illness not considered minor will be reported to parents or guardians for further evaluation. Students 16 and above must have signed permission slip for Tylenol to be dispensed noting any drug allergies.
If you have any questions please feel free to contact the Health Center (610 526 6090)
